Steel mill SSM Strážske – Retaining wall

By the north railway siding in the premises of the steel mill in Strážske there was designed a retaining wall.
The retaining is made of prefabricated concrete elements. The terrain above the retaining wall is sloped. In order to prevent surface erosion from formation, there were installed semi-vegetation shaped bricks on the slope right above the wall. Above the shaped bricks there is stretched an anti-erosive protective network in the whole length of the slope.
